[VIDEO REVIEW] Omunye (ft. Benny Maverick and Dladla Mshunqisi) - Distruction Boyz

Please understand that the moment you read this, we are very disappointed in Distruction Boyz as a whole right now...so much hype...so little to find...

One common thing to expect from Afrotainment affiliated music videos (correct us if we're wrong) is DJ Tira, 'bad bads' and water. Distruction Boyz had us going insane with the song Madness, before the album (people from Pietermaritzburg know how it plays on repeat at the SunDance) it was lit, the ultimate song to get down to. Then the album dropped. As predicted, it needed a towel, and water breaks every once in a while. Omunye was one of the first few songs on the album, it had to be a single...now there's a video.

The hype reached apex when the release date was pushed back due to Khanyi Mbau not being able to come through to reshoot her scene...and we see why. She comes in...and leaves...literally. Look, Omunye already has so much controversy around it, it didnt need any marketing, but this video just was a disappointment. Really.

That's all, otherwise, this album straight fire. I don't see them lasting long though in the game, as with every artists from Afrotainment since Big Nuz.
