I'm mad, honestly disappointed that this song has never dropped at a club and probably blown the speakers out on a regular. I don't know if it was the marketing issue, was it the name of the song? Quite a number of questions need to be answered. Especially "Why don't we have a video already?!".
It cant be that the song wasn't filled with Knock Your Speakers 808's? The screw-faced drop that starts the catchy, 'anthemic' hook after the first verse? The flow of the rappers? Celestial Mic is a lyrical MC from way back, who is well known in Durban, so what exactly might have happened?
This got us thinking that this is what New Age Hip Hop has become. 808's, Drugs and Girls. So why is it so many people haven't actually heard it when all of the above is involved? I'd suggest you don't be one of them who don't know the lyrics. Don't be surprised if you start turning up with that mean mug. Think Differently? Let us know by commenting below.
