[SONG REVIEW] LOOKATME! - XXXTentacion
Genuinely speaking, if you haven't tried to pronounce Jahseh Onfroy's stage name, you possibly don't like hip-hop, or don't like allowing yourself to try, or even worse...you did not feel any type of way about the XXL's Freshman Class of '17. Not because he's not a good rapper, or he doesn't have a big fan base (this guy blew up...while he was in jail...so...), he's probably the most genuine artist with the most obscure creativity since the post-MBDTF Kanye West in my opinion).
X blew up from the claims that Drake had stolen his flow, and put it on the song 'KMT' on the More Life album. You can hear the mash-up on YouTube, but that's besides the point. Since then, he's released a few mixtapes, an album, and now...the music video for the song itself, LOOKATME! As expected, it's full of shock artistry...but if you aren't too caught up in the idea of "He's satanic", and realize the message he's trying to push, you might want to watch the video until the end. Been a while since we've seen an artist bare his soul like this. It brought us to the thought in Heather Heyer's final Facebook post 'If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention'.
